Bicultural Chinese Elective Programme (BiCEP) 双文化华文优选课程

新加坡福建会馆自2007年起，在其所有附属小学为经遴选的小四至小六学生开办为期三年的双文化特选课程（BiCEP）。培青学校受邀与新加坡福建会馆合作，为我校遴选的学生实施这项双文化华文特选课程（BiCEP）。该课程由一群经验丰富的华文教师设计，并咨询相关专家意见。课程旨在培养一批能掌握双语的学生，特别着重于让孩子们探索亚洲文化传统，加深对中华文化与价值观的理解。

该课程包含以下单元：

1. 儿童文学赏析与创作
2. 中华文化与通史
3. 福建会馆文化艺术团口语训练
4. 小五海外学校浸濡与文化之旅
5. 小六毕业典礼

The Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan has been offering the 3-year BiCEP for selected students from Primary 4 to Primary 6 in all its affiliated primary schools since the programme’s inception in 2007. Poi Ching School has been invited to come on board to collaborate with The Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan to implement this BICULTURAL CHINESE ELECTIVE PROGRAMME (BiCEP) for our selected students. This programme is designed by a team of experienced Chinese Language teachers, in consultation with relevant experts and it aims to develop a core group of effective bilinguals; with a strong emphasis on empowering the participants to discover their Asian heritage and to gain a deeper understanding of the Chinese culture and values.

The programme includes the following modules:

1. Children’s Literature Appreciation and Creative Writing
2. Chinese Culture and History
3. P4 Chinese Oratorical Skill and Broadcasting Training camp by Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Arts and Cultural Troupe
4. P5 Overseas School Immersion & Cultural Trip
5. P6 Graduation Ceremony

Selection Criteria

1. Consistently achieves strong academic performance across all subjects.
2. Maintains exemplary conduct and demonstrates positive behaviour at all times.
3.Exhibits a strong learning disposition, including curiosity, resilience, and a commitment to improvement in the subject area.
4.Highly recommended by teachers based on academic performance, attitude, and contribution to the learning environment.

遴选标准

1. 在各学科中持续取得优异的学业表现。
2. 始终保持良好的品行，并展现积极正面的行为表现。
3. 具备良好的学习态度与素养，包括求知精神、坚毅不拔的学习精神，以及不断追求进步的态度。
4. 获得教师的高度推荐。
