Pupil Development Department

Mission
To TOUCH –

To Transform Others Under Caring Hands

Vision
Every Life Transformed Under Caring Hands
(aligned with PERI C2015 outcomes)

Introduction:
The school’s Pupil Development looks into several important aspects, namely ‘Discipline’, ‘Leadership’, ‘Counselling and Pastoral Care’, ‘Life-skills’ and ‘Community Service’. Within these four domains are different programmes that aim to imbue our students with a sense of citizenship, leadership qualities, concern for others, sound moral values and appropriate social skills.
This is aligned to the Desired Outcomes of Education. The school-wide implementation of character development is done through both the formal and informal curriculum.
Pupils are identified and given the opportunities to develop their leadership capabilities by assuming leadership roles which include the following: class monitors, subject representatives, NE/HE ambassadors, CCA leaders, Junior Leaders and Prefects.
